ESports has been around for some time now, and it’s known as the battle between video game players. Once the 2000s started, electronic sports have been continuously evolving, with the number of people playing or watching the games increasing. Since there was a financial crisis in Asia in 1997, people without a job wanted something to do to pass the time, so they turned to video games. The Korean eSports Association was then established in 2000.

Basically, there are multiple stages in a tournament, with teams going against each other until they are eliminated and one of them wins.
